Paintings of quiet contemplation.  It’s all about the light.  My paintings are intended to be challenging yet accessible to a wide audience.  The settings may be anywhere yet nowhere and are often backdrops to some submerged psychological drama.  I explore my own joys, fears and anxieties about the contemporary world and project them onto the canvas.

New Exhibitions and Blog

I have been invited to participate in Off The Kerb Gallery’s Spring Days 2025 exhibition. The opening is 19th September, 6 - 8 pm.

Group exhibitions at this venue are always a delight with high standard work, and the openings are always well attended.

A proposed massive redevelopment of Hamilton Art Gallery in Western Victoria is dividing the community. It’s an old debate regarding the relevance of the arts in a struggling region, but it’s a debate worth having. You can read about it in my latest blog.

I am delighted to be included again along with 18 other artists in Quadrant Gallery’s Art Fair for 2025. Openings will be staggered over 2 months on Saturdays with different artists featured each time. My opening is the 23rd August.
